Salad Dressings (Several)


Tahini Dressing

2 T.  SesameTahini

½ lemon juiced

1 t. water

a dash of cayenne (optional) and salt to taste

Combine all together, add more water if needed, toss withvegetables or salad

Lemon Dressing

½ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

¼ cup organic olive oil

3 pressed garlic cloves

1 t. raw organic honey

½ t. salt

a pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)

Ranch Dressing/Dip

½ Cup grapeseed Vegenaise

2 t. freshly squeezed lemon juice

1 t. Old Bay Seasoning or ½ t. sea salt

1 garlic clove, finely minced

1 T. chives finely chopped

Combine all together use as dip or dressing.  Keeps well in fridge for up to 1 week

Fresh Basil Vinaigrette

½ C. Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

3 T. fresh basil finely chopped

1-2 T. honey

1 pressed garlic clove

1 t. Celtic sea salt

Mix these ingredients together and keep in fridge—will keep for about 3 weeks

Add to fresh green salad : 1 part dressing to 2 parts oliveoil (or equal parts if desired). This dressing is so nice with a salad of mixed field greens,pomegranate, pine nuts and sliced green onions—very festive and fun for a holiday or any day!

Makes several servings

Basic Salad Dressing/Marinade for Grilled Chicken

½ C. Bragg’s Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

½ small-diced onion (red or yellow)

1t. Organic stone ground Dijon mustard

¼ t. Celtic sea salt

¼ t. black pepper

1 T. honey

Mix together and keep in fridge—will keep for about 1 week

Use 1 part dressing to 2 parts olive oil on fresh greensalad

(or equal parts if desired)  

Avocado Dressing/Veggie Dip

1 fresh ripe avocado

¼ C. olive oil

1-2 T.  OrganicApple Cider Vinegar

3 T. Grapeseed Vegenaise

1 Clove pressed fresh garlic

1 green onion pressed

Celtic sea salt to taste (about 1 t.)

Water to desired consistency

(will keep in fridge about 1 week)

Easiest Ever Salad Dressings

Use equal parts of organic olive oil and Napa ValleyNaturals Cherry Wood aged Balsamic Grand Reserve Vinegar, or other high qualitybalsamic vinegar or Braag’s Organic Braggberry—Yummy with mixed field greensand pineapple, dried cranberries or currents and pine nuts or other seeds ornuts

Goat Yogurt Ranch Dressing/Veggie Dip

½ C. Goat yogurt (if tolerated)

2T Grapeseed Vegenaise

1 T. fresh or dried onion

½ t. garlic powder

Celtic sea salt to taste

Add a tablespoon or so water for dressing

(will keep in fridge about 1 week)
